Two arrested for manufacturing and selling THC products

Durham, N.C. (June, 12, 2020) ---  A joint operation between the Durham County Sheriff's Anti-Crime and Narcotics Unit (SAC/NARC) and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI)  into illegal drug activity has resulted in the arrest of two subjects who now face multiple charges.
 
On June 11, 2020, a search warrant was executed at an apartment building in the 1300 block of Morreene Road in Durham. While there, law enforcement discovered and confiscated a large cache of illegal products used to manufacture, sell, and distribute THC, $23,724 in cash and marijuana.
 
Sheriff Birkhead said, “We are laser-focused bringing perpetrators to justice even during the ongoing challenges in our community. Our office will keep working with the community and follow up on information about criminal activity in their neighborhoods.
