Durham, NC (Wednesday, February 11, 2026) – Durham County Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a juvenile suspect in connection to a non-fatal stabbing that occurred earlier this morning. The incident happened just before 3:00 a.m. in 4000 block of Cheek Road.
DCSO Patrol Units responded to a service call of an assault at the location. Upon arrival, the victim said he was stabbed in the head, and stated the perpetrator fled the crime scene on foot. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The known juvenile suspect is still at large as the investigation into this incident continues.
This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
