DURHAM, NC – (Friday, December 12, 2025) – Durham County Sheriff’s Anti-Crime and Narcotics (SAC/Narc) investigators have charged a wanted man with trafficking in methamphetamine as part of a multi-agency ongoing investigation.
On the afternoon of Thursday, December 11, investigators with DCSO SAC/Narc, along with the State Bureau of Investigations and Federal Task Force partners, conducted a controlled delivery of narcotics to an address on the 1200 block of Ivy St in Durham, after receiving the package containing approximately (1) one kilogram of methamphetamine, Mr. Jose David Dubon-Sanabria, age 20, of the home, was taken into custody.
Sanabria, who also has outstanding warrants for 2 counts of AWDWISITK and Possession of a Firearm by a minor, has been charged with:
- Felony Conspiracy
- MSDP within 1000 Feet of a School
- Maintain Veh/Dwell/Place Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- PWIMSD Methamphetamine
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Resist Delay Obstruct an Officer
He was seen by a magistrate and is currently being held in the Durham County Detention Facility without bond.
