NARCOTICS UNIT FINDS DRUGS CASH AND STOLEN WEAPON AFTER SEARCH OF HOME
Durham, N.C. – On Friday October 12, 2018 the Sheriff's Anti-Crime and Narcotics unit (SAC Narc) concluded an investigation involving the sale of heroin. On that date members of the SAC Narc team executed a search warrant on the 1800 block of Prichard Pl. During the search of the home they located approximately 43 grams of heroin, a stolen firearm and a large sum of cash.
As a result of the investigation and search, arrested is 35 year old Robert Valdez Martinez Jr. of Durham.
He has been charged with:
Possession of a Firearm By a Felon
Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Trafficking in Opium or Heroin
Possession with Intent to Manufacture Sell or Deliver Heroin
Maintain a Vehicle Dwelling or Place for a Controlled Substance
and other outstanding warrants
He is currently in the Durham County Detention Center on a $3,002,000 bond
